This course is for beginners which will take place on Saturdays from 10a-2p.

Oct. 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st
Sunday open lab hours from 11a-3p will be available every week to provide you additional hours to work on your art pieces. You will get the most out of this class by attending lab hours.
What you will learn:
Metalsmithing skills
Annealing, Sawing, Filing, Embossing, Soldering
Jewelry Art Piece Fabrication Skills by Week
Week 1 - creating a bezel for stone setting
Week 2 - Production tools (stamping, rolling mill, disk cutter & dapping block)
Week 3 - Forming a ring shank. Soldering shank to bezel.
Week 4 - Creating jump rings. Soldering jump rings to bezel to create bail for pendants.
Week 5 - Prong Settings
Week 6 - Creating hooks for dangle earrings. Soldering posts to bezels to create stud earrings
Week 7 - Forming and texturing cuff bracelets. Classic, synclastic, & anti-clastic
Week 8 - Art piece completion week
The cost of this course is $800. The amount of $300 will be required to start the course. One payment of $250 will be required at the start of week 3, $125 at the start of week 5 and $125 week 7. These additional payments can be made by cash, venmo, or credit card in person. Payments via credit card or venmo will require sales tax to be added.

Failure to make the additional payments will forfeit the remainder of the course for you.
No refunds can be given for cancellations or absences once the course begins.
If you need to miss class, you have the option to attend the Monday night class for that week. Make up lessons are not guaranteed.
